The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is home to the closest finishes on the Superbike World Championship calendar, with 2019 set to be no different!

The circuit hosted its first World Superbike race in 1990 with Peter Goddard and Robbie Phillis taking the win in Race 1 and Race 2 respectively. Moving forward, the majestic and challenging Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is gearing up to host its 29th World Superbike event.

The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is a demanding 4.445km in length with 12 corners, 5 right and 7 left. Chaz Davies has the World Superbike lap record at 1:30.949 only marginally behind the outright motorcycle lap record set by Marc Marquez in MotoGP at 1:28.108.
